You can use the signed certificates with the different supported certificate replacement processes I have made CA Root certificate with New-SelfSigned CertificateEx. But people like me just need to generate a certificate. I cannot study powershell just now. After spending 1 hour trying to find out why New-SelfSignedC ertificate is not available in my powershell (no support for Windows 7) I downloaded this one and the frustration lasted another hour, because I did not know about this.
